Fresh from their sold out run at the Edinburgh Fringe, Brilliant at Breakfast presents: Lobster Bisque.

Jim Henson meets Oscar Wilde in this high-energy farce, with slapstick physicality, clown work, innovative ways of storytelling and outrageous characters in over-the-top situations – all performed by two actors and a menagerie of puppets.

Two intrepid puppeteers set the stage to perform an elaborate piece of theater. Their show begins with a Chef and a Maid preparing for the arrival of their lord and lady’s guests, and when they do — a dinner party reveals affairs, spawns beet-related business deals, and culminates in a bowl of Lobster Bisque to die for.

We encourage everyone to join us in a fantasy realm where the biggest problems in life are what dress shall I wear to the ball? Should I have my pears roasted or poached? And who poisoned the bloody soup?! Leave the trepidation of the world behind, and feast your eyes on a visual buffet where every corner is ornate, every bow plump, and every tassel is full and lush.
