RED TAP/BLUE TIGER TO PREMIERE AT THE EDINBURGH FRINGE FESTIVAL

THE ALBION COMPANY are to preview RED TAP/BLUE TIGER, a new-play by Richard Vincent, at Greenwich Theatre before transferring it to appear at this year’s Edinburgh Fringe Festival. The production will be co-produced by Greenwich Theatre and play at Greenwich on Sat 26 July, then at Assembly Roxy from Thu 31 July – Mon 25 August 2014.

WINNER OF BBC’S ‘OVER THE RAINBOW’, DANIELLE HOPE, AND WEST END STAR, JON ROBYNS IN JASON ROBERT BROWN’S THE LAST FIVE YEARS

Danielle Hope, who won BBC1’s Over The Rainbow, will star as Catherine Hiatt in Jason Robert Brown’s award-winning musical, The Last Five Years at Greenwich Theatre, London and The Warren Theatre, Brighton this May. She will appear alongside West End star Jon Robyns, whose credits include Spamalot, Les Miserables and Avenue Q.

AWARD-WINNING PLAYWRIGHT AND DIRECTOR JOINS GREENWICH THEATRE TO LAUNCH GAY THEATRE INITIATIVE

Having developed a bold reputation for producing and celebrating gay themed work Greenwich Theatre has now launched a new permanent strand to its year round programming, which will culminate each year in THE BAND PLAYS ON, a festival of new gay-themed playwriting named in honour of Mart Crowley’s 1968 classic and presented in partnership with award winning writer and director Patrick Wilde (What's Wrong with Angry).

OSCAR WINNING ACTRESS AMONG NEW PATRONS OF GREENWICH THEATRE

ACCLAIMED TEENAGE CHOIR SEEKS NEW MEMBERS

Over the past few years Greenwich Theatre has fast built a reputation for supporting and presenting the work of some of the finest young professional theatre makers in the country, with invitations flooding in from as far afield as Madrid and New York for international transfers. However, while this work continues on stage the theatre is also home to Ultraviolet, an inspirational performance group of young singers and beatboxers from the local area.
