Situated 5 minutes from both the Cutty Sark DLR and Greenwich Station, we are easily accessible for both local and national visitors. We also have coach set-down and pick-up facilities and the theatre is fully accessible for people with mobility issues.

The venue is ideally suited to serve South East London business communities. With superb facilities, Greenwich Theatre makes the perfect venue for most events.

GREENWICH THEATRE AUDITORIUM

Whenever our professional touring show schedule allows, we accept proposals for hire events. The Theatre seats 400 people and has lighting and sound equipment. Within the hire fee we can include technical support, a Front of House Manager and a team. Our Box Office has in-person, telesales and 24-hour online sales facilities which we provide for a small sales commission.

Hire Events within the auditorium must be broadly speaking of a theatrical nature and:

• Be produced by an experienced producer. That is a producer who has successfully promoted an event similar in size and complexity.
• If the event is for an invited audience (Not sold through our box office), have a ticketing strategy that takes into account, lost tickets and refunds if customers not satisfied.
• Have a competent Technical Manager who is able to meet with us and provide detailed technical specifications.
• Be of a nature that does not conflict with the theatres reputation or artistic goals.

GREENWICH THEATRE – STUDIO

This 6m by 9m space offers versatility, comfort and quality – all at affordable hire prices.

Seating up to 50 people (70 in the cabaret style), the space is ideal not just as a rehearsal or meeting space but as a performance space. The layout is completely flexible with use of the lighting and sound equipment included in the hire fee. Our Box Office has in-person, telesales and 24 hour online sales facilities which we provide for a small sales commission

Hire rates for the Studio start at:

£2,000 (+VAT)  per week (Monday to Saturday)

£350 (+VAT) per individual weekday (Monday to Friday)

£400 (+VAT) per individual weekend day (Sat or Sun)

REHEARSAL AND WORKSHOPS SPACES

On occasion, some of our spaces are available for hire. Whether it’s a rehearsal, photo or film shoot, auditions, writing session, seminar… we can try our best and accommodate you.

All of our spaces are available to hire from 10am until 6pm, but we are more than happy to accommodate times around your schedule the best that we can. When hiring our spaces you’ll have access to our free WIFI; as well as chairs, tables at no additional charge. We also have a green room which you are more than welcome to use that contains basic kitchen facilities.

Most spaces are accessibility but if you have any special requirements, please outline them in the form and we will do our best to accommodate.
