Catch

Catch

“Please correct me if I’m wrong, but ‘casual’ doesn’t usually involve making you hot chocolate when you’re ill or holding hands in co-op?”

Training Midwife Lilian is embracing life as it comes through a causal fling and dangerous tequila shots.
The much more forward thinking Chloe is balancing ward and home life along with her new perfect seeming relationship.

But what happens when everything is far from perfect?

After it’s sold out performance at Rose Bruford College, Drama-comedy “Catch” is delighted to be returning to Greenwich Theatre this spring.

Based on true stories, “Catch” is a gorgeously messy and outrageously funny insight into the modern dating world, told through monologues, live music and physical comedy. Catch yourself laughing and achingly relating to this sexy and honest story of taboos and, yet universal truths, around intimacy and heartbreak.

This isn’t a play which empowers women to say “I can be like that!” but instead empowers them to say “I am like that! Flaws and all!”

Written and directed by: Emily Nancy
Starring: Florence Whitaker, Lara Alyssa, Alana Cairns and Niamh Spillane

“The intimate joys of love and friendship, being young and free and the harsh reality of the darkness that resides in us all. What a piece of writing [Nancy] has such an instinct for how to deliver drama”- Maddy Hill, Actress.
